Standard Japanese grater made of stainless steel. This grater produces a fine paste of the wasabi rhizome. Use for both wasabi and ginger. Ideal for home use. For optimal use, use a bamboo brush to collect the paste from the grater. This way nothing is left behind on the grater.
The difference with other graters is that this grater has no holes. This causes the cells of the wasabi to be finely ground, so to speak. By grating, you break the structure of the wasabi and only then are the flavors released.
